Welcome to Ashley's Birthday Blog Hop!

WooHoo! Happy Birthday Ashley! We are going to celebrate like party animals! You should have arrived here from Jillian's blog. If you stumbled into our party, hop on over to Ashley's at http://myscrappinpalace.blogspot.com/ to start at the beginning.

So I made a few cards to celebrate Ashley's special day.

All three cards were made with aniamls from Create a Critter and paper from an awesome My Mind's Eye paper stack called Party Time. Love it! It has such cute papers that are good for boys and girls. The sentiment stamps are from Pink by Design's Take the Cake set.

Blog Candy - Yum!

So I went through my stash looking for bright, fun stuff!

Here are 5 sheets of Cosmo Cricket Pixie-Licious paper and stickers.

To be eligible to win, please become a follower and leave a comment below before Thursday, midnight. I will choose a winner Friday, January 5th when I wake up.

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #14

I made this card for the Cricut Circle Weekly challenge.
According to polls, “getting in shape” is among the Top Ten Resolutions people make each New Year’s Eve. Let’s do it! Let’s start the New Year off right by getting in shape . . . a shape other than a rectangle. We challenge you to create a project in a shape other than a square or rectangle. Your project must also include a number somewhere and bling of some kind (to go along with this week’s theme of “Blinging in the New Year”!

I had a great time using my new Imagine for this project. I used the card shape from pg 25 for my base and then the telephone from the same page. We needed to include a include a number somewhere, I did have numbers on the dial of the phone, but I wanted it to be for the New Year. So I used some Echo Park little alphabet stickers to say 'in 2011'. Done!

I think it is so cute, but more importantly I got the "thumbs up" from my teenage daughter! LOL

YEA!! I did it!

I made it on my first design team! Card Creations & More by Christina. Woo Hoo! I am so excited. We will be having challenges every other Saturday starting on January 15th. I can't wait to get started on my projects.

No special reason for these two cards. Especially since the Saints lost today. These were my first custom order cards for a friend at work. I just love how they turned out.

Don't forget about Ashley's Birthday Blog hop on Tuesday! We will have lots of Birthday themed projects and blog candy.
