This is my first blog Hop to participate in. I'm so excited. I'm sure a few of us will have a little blog candy, so don't forget to hop on by.

A few of my favorites from this past year

I just think this little chick is so cute. It was alos a couple of firsts for me. I used Glossy Accents on the umbrella and boots. And I made my own Perfect Pearls glimmer mist spray and used it on the raindrops and then used Glossy Accents after they had dried. Oh yeah, and I used my new at the time Martha Stewart fringe scissors. Love those, makes cutting the grass so easy.

In late 2009, we adopted a tiny stray kitten. So young, I had to bottle feed her for two weeks. We named her Magnolia, or Maggie for short. She has become so dear to me. I swear sometimes she must think she is a dog. She is so funny. Anyway, I hadd to start a scrapbook just for her. This is one of my favorites. I love the simplicity. I also used grungeboard and my crop a dile for the 1st time. I colored the grungeboard circles with SU ink and then stamped the title. Magggie won the fight, by the way.

My daughter has a snowglobe collection, so I had to make this for her.

I made this for the first Cricut Circle monthly challenge. It was also my first home decor project. I love the papers from Sassafras Indie Girl.

These pictures are from quite a few years ago. My how the girls have grown! In real life, the LO has alot of dimension.

I love love this LO. My favorite color is blue, and these papers from Lily Bee Designs are gorgeous. My cousin moved to Australia a few years ago and was in town for a visit this past summer.

Flaunt It Friday #5

For this week's challenge at Flaunt it Friday, we needed to use the martini glass on the From the Kitchen cartridge. I had a tough time with this - just didnt know what paper to use, etc.
I ended up using some Crate Paper DP because I like the colors. The stamp is from Jump and Jive by Pink by Design and the paper for the martini is all from Michaels. I have no idea who or when I would give this too! LOL

Flaunt It Friday #4

This week's challenge at Flaunt it Friday was to use the turtle from Create a Critter, and to try to not just make a card. Whew! That was hard. I have been on such a card kick, I was having a hard time thinking any other way. My daughter and I had made little gift bags for her teachers for Thanksgiving, so I decided to do that again. I used some of my favorite Granola Basic Grey paper. I used Perfect Pearls mist to color my flowers to match and used Glossy accents on his shell. Isn't he cute?

My New Office/Craft Room

Welcome to my new office. Since I received a few new toys for Christmas, I wanted to move things around a bit.

Welcome to Provocraft corner! LOL It is so nice to have everything in one spot. Before, I had my table on the other side of the room, so I had to get up everytime I wanted to use the cricut. Under the table I have a HUGE bin of grosgrain ribbon and a few smaller boxes from when I used to make bows and headbands (anyone want to buy a bunch of ribbon?!). I also have my box of cricut cartridges and scrapping ribbon and bling.
Here is my beautiful desk from Office Depot. In the 2 upper cabinets, I have my stamps, stickles, etc, Crop a dile, label maker, and Spellbinders. The bottom cabinet holds my Basic Grey paper. I used the pullout keyboard drawer for my paper cutters. The two decorative boxes up top have my wood mount stamps in them. Cool, huh!

This bookcase is also from Office Depot. I have my sticker embellishments, finished cards, chipboard and albums. And yes, 2 more carts full of grosgrain ribbon!

This is my old computer armoire that is slowly being overrun by scrapping supplies! So far, I have all my paper stacks and individual paper, boxes pictures and boxes of cricut booklets.

Well there you go - my scraproom. I love it! I feel so lucky to be able to actually have a room all to myself. It used to be the girls' playroom, but I kicked them out! LOL Thanks for looking.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I have been so busy this month, I haven't had much time for challenges. Let's see... I made over 50 Christmas cards to send to family and friends, busy at Preschool with Christmas programs and parties for over 200 little ones, and my mom came for a visit for the holidays from Hawaii. So busy, busy, not much crafty time. But I had an awesome Christmas - I got the Cricut Imagine from my dear sweet hubby and a bunch of new cartridges for both the I and the E. Yay! I can't wait to get down and dirty with my new new toys.

I hope everyone has a blessed holiday.

Let it Snow

I made this card for the Flaunt It Fridays 1st challenge. We were supposed to use the snowman from page 29 of Winter Frolic. I cut the cute little guy at 3.4 and used DP from DCWV Winter Wonder stack. The stamp is from Pink by Design's Winter Fun. I added a little bling and called it done! Oh yeah! and I used my brand new Peachy Keen Everyday Character Faces for the first time! WooHoo
